About Abbey Barkley

As a proud Houstonian and second-generation realtor, Abbey Barkley brings deep local knowledge and a lifelong passion for real estate to every client interaction. Born and raised in the heart of Houston, Abbey offers a true insider’s perspective on the city’s diverse neighborhoods, rich culture, and dynamic market. Her roots run deep not just in real estate, but in the Texas values of integrity, hospitality, and hard work. Whether guiding first-time buyers, seasoned investors, or sellers looking to make a move, Abbey combines legacy experience with modern strategy to deliver a personalized and seamless real estate journey.

 

Abbey grew up in Memorial and attended Memorial Drive Elementary, Second Baptist School and Memorial High School. She went on to attend the University of Oklahoma where she majored in Public Relations and International Studies. Abbey knew that she wanted to get straight back to Texas and immediately worked on getting her real estate license. Quickly after, she started working for Cathy and Sarah and has been with them as a licensed assistant since October 2021.

 

Since working with Cathy and Sarah, Abbey has gained invaluable experience and knowledge that has allowed her to grow her own business while also assisting two top producing agents.

 

Abbey lives in the Heights and is very active in her community. She is a member of the Junior League of Houston where she consistently volunteers at the Children's Museum of Houston. She is extremely passionate about giving back to the Houston community. As well, she is an active Kappa Kappa Gamma alumni.

 

In her free time, Abbey loves to go on walks through the Heights, hang out with friends and explore new restaurants in the city and travel.

 

Abbey loves to bring a personal touch to every transaction while also maintaining a very professional atmosphere. She has gained extensive insight into how to handle each transaction with care and a level of professionalism that guarantees results.
